As a non-denominational minister and professional wedding officiant, I've managed weddings at just about every location you can imagine, and sometimes that means the lawn at the State Capitol. Lucky for us it wasn't overrun with newly graduated students or crazy hot (overcast is best for outdoor weddings), so we found a quiet spot under the trees with the Capitol building intentionally in the background, and had a quick little wedding ceremony on the sidewalk circumventing the grounds. "Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedding husband?" Hell yeah.
