Choosing an Officiant

In Utah, most couples who are getting married have a family friend or a local minister, bishop, or pastor who will perform their wedding on their behalf, but for those who are looking for a non-denominational officiant or a minister to perform their ceremony, how do you make that decision? Starting with an officiant's experience and personality is smart, then availability and pricing are important, but ultimately it's the connection a couple shares with this individual, because they will have such an important role in the most important day in their lives. Having a Zoom call, Facetime meeting, or brief chat can really help determine whether you've made the right choice, just remember a few extra bucks is totally worth finding the right person to manage your day. Don't let your budget be the most important thing.
