Awesome way to spend a Christmas afternoon, officiating a vow renewal ceremony for a couple celebrating 25 years together. As a wedding officiant, non-denominational minister, and justice of the peace, most of my gigs are obviously wedding ceremonies, but occasionally I'm asked to officiate a vow renewal ceremony to celebrate longevity, reflect back and look forward, all while recommitting to promises long since shared. And it's not the most traditional way to spend a Christmas day, but for me, even being with complete strangers, as long as I'm around authentic people with genuine feelings, I'm happy to share my time, even holiday time. Merry Christmas ya'll.
