Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate (like today), so a Bride and Groom has to move to Plan B. We were going to have a beautiful outdoor wedding at East Canyon this afternoon, but because of rain and lightning, we pivoted. As a non-denominational minister, I run into this on occasion because a lot of my weddings are small, backyard services with intimate congregations. So it's not that big of a challenge. And actually, in a lot of cases, the spontaneous weddings, or the ceremonies that are small, can be the most memorable.
