The white barn at Hobble Creek...that's the way the Bride described it to me when I asked her where they were planning on having the wedding. "Are you familiar?" And I'm thinking to myself, "There has to be more than one white barn, right? Let's be a little more sure that we're going to the right place before we go into a canyon with no cell service." Ha. But sometimes it just works out. Sometimes as a non-denominational minister, wedding officiant, and justice of the peace I just have to trust that it'll all work out. Sometimes the wedding ceremony requires snowshoes and a white barn and a little bit of faith from the wedding officiant. Of my 200+ wedding ceremonies though, this one actually turned out to be one of the most memorable. And you can see why. With scenery and privacy and nature, we had to pat down the aisle because the snow was so deep, just to make sure the bride could make it to us. Beautiful winter wedding.
