Although it wasn't 100 degrees today, it felt like it a bit during this wedding ceremony in the backyard of a family member, with friends watching from their seats. As a non-denominational minister, my wheelhouse for wedding ceremonies is actually just like this, 10-50 people in a backyard or at a mountain cabin, though I have definitely done my share of wedding services at large reception centers with 100's of guests. All are beautiful. The life of a professional, non-denominational minister is full of dates like today where I manage a wedding ceremony, then jump in the car and head to another a few miles away. On the weekends especially, I minister and officiate at 5-7 wedding ceremonies all over the valley. And it's my favorite thing in the world.
