As a professional wedding officiant and non-denominational minister who's officiated close to 500 weddings in the last few years, I've seen just about everything. From lobster dinners and huge parties to remote weddings with four people on a Zoom call and true elopement ceremonies, but yesterday was a first. We had this beautiful wedding ceremony at Le Jardin in Sandy, a stunning greenhouse that strangely shares a parking lot with a mortuary, lots of tears and emotions and support, then a donut and dessert bar for after-ceremony snacks. Ha. Of course, it was in the middle of the day so that's probably better than booze or something more adult, and I actually thought it was very clever, then rolled in the Mariachi band, and the party really started. Just goes to show you can have anything you want for your wedding, and hiring the right wedding officiant to shepherd it goes a long way.
