At the top of Millcreek Canyon, just outside of Salt Lake City, UT, there is a restaurant called Log Haven (amazing food and incredible views). In the summer, I officiate weddings across the street in one of the meadows adjacent all the time in the Summer, but when it's cold out, that's a whole different story. As pictured, you can see how the restaurant fashions a covered chapel area to hold out the wind and weather, and we can hold a wedding even when it's freezing outside. As a non-denominational minister and professional wedding officiant, I have the privilege of officiating at weddings in all locations with all kinds of couples. This one was special though. Lots of heartfelt commitments and long stares, a great couple with all the support in the world, this is a wedding where I'm grateful to be ordained as a non-denominational minister.
